Beer Keg, Half-Barrel question
#1
I'm about to return my keg but I can tell from moving it that there is still some beer left in it. Nothing comes out though so I thought maybe there was too much pressure. I pull the pressure release but instead of extra air coming out beer comes out of the holes. How can I get the rest out?

A long straw?

Lay on your back, put the keg on your chest, tilt it up toward your mouth, release the pressure valve and let gravity do the rest.

unless the beer has been kept chilled, and on a CO2 bottle, it will have gone bad. Party kegs using a hand pump will let air into it to pressurize it, and that will cause the beer to spoil very quickly, like a day or two, even if kept chilled.

You always lose a little in the keg that just won't come out.
There is a tube that goes from the coupler to the bottom of the barrel. The beer is drawn from the bottom when you tap it. Depending on where this tube is positioned in relation to the bottom of the can determines if you get that last drop.
Like Racer X stated, if you let it get to room temp, it's not worth getting the last bit anyway.

I had the "party" keg for about a week and a half and just finished it yesterday. It's not like it was good beer to begin with (Bud Light) but it tasted like normal up until we finished it off. I just kept it out in my garage that stayed in the 30's the whole time. Although it does make since that it should go bad with the amount of air pumped into it. My wife mentioned that it tasted "like water" however it still gave the desired effect.
