Hey there,
Quick question(s) regarding Macs and Slingbox.
I am a traveling consultant and miss my expensive cable I am paying for back in Chicago, thus, I think a slingbox is a great choice, as I can watch in both on laptop and smart phone. The issue lies in the fact that my Comcast Cable modem is tied directly into my Airport Express (hooked into my stereo). I do not have any "extra" ethernet ports for the Slingbox to connect into. So my options are:
1. Upgrade to an Airport Extreme and just use one of the ports there. OR
2. Buy a wired router/hub, connect that to my cable modem and then just plug my Airport Express into that.
Any ideas? The Extreme is probably the best way to go, but just checking. Any have trouble with accessing their Slingbox outside their network from Comcast internet?
Thanks.
