Oprah Winfrey To Form Television Network With Discovery Communications

. . .Oprah Winfrey will add a cable television network to her stable of media properties in 2009 with the formation of “OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network.”

Lucky for me the move doesn't happen until mid 2009. Discovery Health did a story on my wife for "Mystery Diagnosis" that is supposed air in March. I would have hated to have to tell her that her show wasn't going to air and that it was Oprah's fault.

Rats! I like the Discovery Health Channel. All the more reason for me to dump
cable TV and try the buy-tv-shows-off-iTunes thing.
