Anyone Know of Any Deals on Heart Gard tabs for Dogs???
#1
I know many of you have pets and was wondering where you get your heartworm meds from. With 3 dogs, vets and meds start to add up so I don't mind saving when I can. I normally get mine from my vet but I see there are a few online places selling for less. So far the cheapest I found for the 26-50lb size is $21.95 here: http://www.discountpetdrugs.com/hearplusgree.html plus $4.95 shipping. I've never done business with these people and Google Shopping gives them a Giant rating of 1.6 stars! Do I feel lucky?? Probably not.

We usually use "dog.com" for Advantage:

They have free shipping starting at $49.

There is also the corresponding one for cats:
(although it doesn't appear to be complete -- and you can order cat stuff through dog.com)

Previously we used www.1800petmeds.com but it was more expensive than dog.com. However, I just noticed that they supposedly price match and their free shipping starts at $39...

We just bought Interceptor from http://budgetpetmeds.com/. Easy and relatively quick delivery. I remember searching for the best price with shipping and that's where we ended up, but it looks like your place is even cheaper. Good to know for next time. Thanks.

Except for dog.com we have dealt all of the aforementioned online vendors. And all of them are willing to price-match. The overall cost is less expensive than the vet's offices. We just received a $120 bill for a 3 month supply of heart guard and anti-flea/ticks from my aunt's chosen vet ... our lit' guy is temporarily staying with our aunt's family while we are settling down at our new home.
