My brother works at a prison and tells me that the prisoners get better healthcare than he does. Now they've added Starz to their cable lineup as well. I was just wondering who it is that decides how prisoners are treated? I've seen stories on the news where prisoners have to camp outside. no tv. no amenities. no nothing. Who decides how that stuff is run?

They should only be allowed to watch original programming from the Armed Forces Radio and Television Service.
You know, classic shows on why vaccination is important, or how to set up a GP medium tent...

If Starz still sucks like it did a few years back, it might be construed as 'cruel and unusual punishment.
...or the warden has been bribed!

Prison Officers refer to the TV's as "babysitters".

It's not like that's going to make people want to go to prison.

Heh, that's what I was thinking.
"What? Starz?! I need to get myself in jail ASAP!"
If anything they should only let prisoners watch reruns of Cops. No one ever gets away on Cops.
