So I downloaded the new free album from Nine Inch Nails and put it on my iPhone. While playing a song I discovered something new. I usually click on the album cover art of currently playing songs for the time slider and repeat and shuffle control at the top. Now when I do that with the new NIN I find a scrolling text of the song lyrics. Nice going Trent.

Cool, they're in iTunes as well (of course). Just Get Info on the song and click on the Lyrics tab!

Heh, heh. That'll really P.O. the music companies. Not only free music, but free lyrics too. Oh, the outrage they must be feeling today.

how is the album? I don't see reviews on the thread yesterday. I haven't really listened in NIN in about 15 years, but for free, I might download this and check it out.

The album sounds like typical NIN but not NIN's best. There are two or three songs I find catchy but nothing stunning. Not bad, but not great IMO.

Not all of them have lyrics, because they don't have any actual singing in them, just noise. Typical Trent noise, by the way - scratching, grinding kinds of noises.
It's an OK album. I probably wouldn't have bought it though, and it would have slipped under my music radar.
