User experiences with a networkable laser printer and where to buy it?
#21
[quote Jimmypoo]remember... the one I got is not a network printer.
I've been meaning to check HP's website to confirm, but I believe it may be possible to add networking to the base model via a plug-in card that can be purchased separately.

After three years of complaining to HP tech support about the scanning software problem I had with my Scanjet 8200, they turned around and sent me an Officejet Pro L7780.

I love this new AIO and best yet it linked to my MacPro in nothing flat. I had been worried about connecting it because there was nowhere close to my computer to place the L7780. I was amazed how easy it was to network the printer to Airport Extreme on my MacPro and now it ha become my default printer.

The rep from HP that offered me the AOI to make up for my problems with the Scanjet had first suggested one of their Laser AIOs, but they were huge and ugly to me, so in looking over my options I found the L7780 and it seemed perfect to me. It is a beautiful design and, from all that I read, it matches a laser unit in printing cost. The quality is really close to laser sharpness, so I'm totally happy with this great machine.

I highly recommend the HP Officejet Pro L7780 and BTW I have seen some really good discounts on this model lately.

olnacl, I hope that my thoughts on this model might be useful to you.
