Need a keypad for my S/O's Nokia 6230
#1
This model is notorious for its flimpsy keypad tho' overall it is a pretty darn good cell phone. My S/O likes its form (bar phone) and its features. Its resell value is good. Do you think it's feasible to simply replace the keypad? Found this: http://www.cellphoneshop.net/keforno621.html

Sure, why not, unless it's $1.59 plus $15 shipping.

That is exactly my concern ... the S & H costs more than the sale item!
How about this one: http://www.daydeal.com/product.php?productid=7856? The price is higher but the shipping is free within the US.

If it were me I'd just buy a new/old stock model and keep the worn one as a backup.
That way you're not in a panic situation running to the ATT store and making deals with the devil if the current one dies or gets lost.

Funny that you mentioned ATT, we did and we realized that it was a rotten deal so we withdrew before the 14 day trial expired. We are actually waiting to see what new bar phones Nokia is coming with.

Just get her an E51, it's a great phone. Smile
