LOL! MS never changes. I will be holding my breath for them to put VB back into the product they crippled. I wonder if I can hold my breath for 4-6 years?

I would have to agree it's a load of crap. Instead of being grateful, I recognize that they left it out to ensure some brisk sales when the next version is released.
FWIW, I don't have a need for it but have clients who do. I got Office 2008 because I was still working with v.X and was ready for an Intel-native update.

Very transparent to me, but I am no longer their market . . . woohoo!! Or just another reason to skip Office 2008 and continue using 2004 or V.x. Considering I got Office 2004 AND 2008 for $25 total, I'm not complaining.

Very transparent to me, but I am no longer their market . . . woohoo!! Or just another reason to skip Office 2008 and continue using 2004 or V.x. Since I only use Entourage and very occasionally Word, I haven't had any motivation to update to Office 2008. To the contrary, since syncing my calendar and contacts to my Treo 755P was the main reason I chose to use Entourage in the first place, the syncing issues I read about with Office 2008 were a total turn off. But, as I always say, "that's just my opinion, I could be wrong." ![]() GeneL |
