Labelling dvds, cds
#1
I've seen many here recommend a variety of different ways to label, but what is everyone's current favorite way? What gets used the most? Sharpie? Epson (R-series?)? Stick-on labels?

Btw, is there a stand alone disk labeler that works with OS X.x?

Sharpie is quickest but for a super finish it is hard to beat an Epson R series/Discus/Taiyo Yuden Water Shield White Inkjet Hub Printable combination.

For my own crap, I just use a Sharpie on the outer edge. Clients get a paper label on their CDs, but more often I just email small files or upload larger ones and send them a link.

Try and avoid stick-on labels. After a while even the best start to lift slightly and they then become susceptible to sticking inside slot loaders.

Edit: I love my Epson R200 which has done sterling work for a long time now without any problems. Probably printed about 500 discs at least.

those are a sight to behold, looks better than many professional CD/DVDs

i guess it depends on how many you have to label?

printing 1 disc at a time isnt exactly speedy
