I've seen many of those pass by me on the assembly line way back when. So fun to drive too! Whenever the conveyer broke down (system that transported cars from end of assembly line to rail/truck area of complex) I would sometimes get loaned out to drive the finished cars to the shipping area.

Usually anyone available would be sent there, and teams would drive them, (one or two in cabs, the rest in new cars) until the conveyor was fixed. You really had to push it to keep up, as we averaged about 1 car coming off the line every minute.

To a young guy in his early 20's, this was a dream job! I never bought one though. Just couldn't justify the expense. Besides, I had a *sweet* '75 Regal at the time that was almost like new. Plenty easy to get a ticket in that. Hate to see what my driving record would have been if I had a GN!

It's undervalued by about 7-12 grand, even up in Alaska. That would go for 30K down in the lower 48.

Well, fly up here and grab it! Drive it 100 miles and then profit your $5-10k. I can go and take a look for you if you need - though the guy obviously has pictures and the like available. Wink

I'll even pick ya up at the airport.
