SATA Hard drive in a Lenovo 3000 C200 PC
#1
My wife uses a Lenovo Model 3000 C200 laptop for work and and she'd like to up the size of the hard drive from the original 40 GB SATA model that came in it to something considerably larger. Anyone have any idea if this computer will accept ~any~ standard, off the shelf 2.5" SATA hard drive - or does a Lenovo {heaven forbid} require something proprietary?

TIA

The key is finding out what the height of the drive is. I would expect that it is 9.5mm. Should be no issue with the SATA connector.

Any 9.5 mm SATA drive should work. My guess is the hardest part will be cloning the system to the new drive.
