Georgia gasoline highest-priced in the lower 48.

Atlanta requires a special formulation, because of our poor air quality, so we can't take the off the shelf stuff like other parts of Georgia and neighboring states. That is one reason our supplies have been tighter.

There was talk about relaxing the EPA rules and letting Atlanta use the regular blend until the flow is better, but by the time they get around to getting that OK'd, the crisis will probably be over.

We just called the Costco in Alpharetta and they said they did have regular, finally. My husband is on his way now. He has about a quarter of a tank, so I hope he is able to fill up. He was heading out anyway, so luckily it isn't a special trip. I have no idea what the price will be.

It was $3.97. Thanks for the heads up. I topped off my tank at Costco right after lunch while I was running errands.

Y'all do really think they're running low on fuel do you? My sister talked
to a truck driver, she knew him from her last job as a shipping clerk at a
furniture company, the other day that drives for an oil company in
Winston-Salem and he said the huge Tank Farm in Greensboro is still
sitting nearly full to the brims on the huge holding tanks. Folks it's all a big huge lie!
