Yeah, I did the iTunes download last night and put it on my iPod but have not had a chance to watch it yet. I'm in the process of a Bit Torrent DL now. I'm hoping to burn a DVD and was told I could do it with this DL. Is that correct?

If you control-click in a song/video/podcast/whatever at the iTunes store, you should see
a contextual menu with the option "Copy iTunes Store URL"--select this and paste the URL
wherever you need to.
"Slacker Uprising" is at:
http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZSto...=291612480&s=143441 (a 1.04 GB download!!!!)

mstudio, AFAIK you can copy and give away as many as you want. I believe all the details are at his website.
laarree. Thank You! I remember seeing others do this, but couldn't for the life of me figure it out. I can be a little dense at times.

So this says "Rent" after you click "Get Movie".
Might this fall under the expiration thingie as do the other rental movies do at the iTMS? I might not get to watch this too soon, is what I'm saying. Will it expire on me?

Good point Jeff. Here's a link I found that will allow downloading so you can burn to disc. I haven't tried it yet, so YMMV.

From Michael Moore:
"I'm giving you my blanket permission to not only download it, but also to email it, burn it, and share it with anyone and everyone (in the U.S. and Canada only). I want you to use 'Slacker Uprising' in any way you see fit to help with the election or to do the work that you do in your community. You can show my film in your local theater, your high school classroom, your college auditorium, your church, union hall or community center. You can have your friends and neighbors over to the house for a viewing. You can broadcast it on TV, on cable access, on regular channels or on the web. It's completely free -- I don't want to see a dime from this. And if you want, you can charge admission or ask for a donation if it's to raise money for a candidate, a voter drive, or for any non-profit or educational purpose. In other words -- it's yours!"

I'm not a Moore fan by any stretch, but I did have a Moore-ish dream last night.
In the dream, I'm a documentary director working on a movie in a former Soviet republic. The president (or prime minister, or whatever) of the place is a popular, young, energetic guy, and I'm interviewing people on the street about him. Thing is, in this country, the general term of affection for an adult male is [random Slavic syllables] that translates directly to "that sonofabitch."
So there's this long stream of quick cuts of lumpen people in grey clothes exclaiming [random Slavic syllables], with the voiceover, "Oh, that sonofabitch!"
I have a very weird subconscious...
