Based on what I heard reported on local NBC-TV this morning, repeated references to previous trials for character assasination just doesn't seem right.

Not saying he isn't an arrogant ba$turd and doesn't deserve to be doing some time for this latest round of transgression, but it does seem the prosecution was afforded some liberty.
Indulging in some more reading may shed some light on the Judge's procedural decision(s).

I heard on the radio during the trial the judge was trying to keep all references to previous crimes of OJ's OUT of the procedings. So, that is good in an appeal

Who would have thought O.J.'s temper would have landed him in jail. I am just shocked, shocked I tell you.

I'm shocked as well! Poor man. It seems that everybody is out to get him!

His name is Garcetti.

Typo on my part.

California had Christopher Darden.

With a decent DA, Darden would have been enough. Garcetti, Clark , and cameras were the downfall of the case.

I *love* that photo of O.J. with his head in his hands. No smug grin to Goldman this time.

And I also hope The Juice actually serves at least 10 years. Anything more is a perk, anything less is a travesty.

And they took him off to jail immediately, proving that what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.
