all good advice. The PEC-12 line is pretty good for cleaning, or 91% or 98% IPA as well.

I have one but I feel the image is degraded using ICE. I'd rather take the time to spot retouch.

That's peculiar. Unless you're scanning kodachrome (which is somewhat incompatible with ICE), or have a software-only or old version of digital ice, there shouldn't be any image degradation. Perhaps you need to play with the scan settings.
