my credit union has a coin counting machine that is free. Gives you a little slip of paper and they give you paper $ or a deposit to your account at the teller window.

Our bank does free coin counting - and willingly. They counted $165 in change in under two minutes.
Our (now ex) credit union just added an 8% fee for counting change last year. |
