YouTube videos and iPod Touch?

I uploaded a couple of short videos to Youtube last night
and neither will play or be found through a search on the
iPod Touch. Both had been edited with QT Pro and were
saved as .mov. Should they have been saved in a different
format before uploading? This as the first videos I've ever
put on Youtube.

You may need to have them in mp4 format.

The upload format should be immaterial. Youtube will convert them to whatever format is necessary for playback regardless of device. That may not happen instantaneously for all videos. Just give it a day or two and check back.

Of course, I could be 100% wrong.
