Thanks for the reminder about extremeoverclocking.com. I never understood why the two work machines were producing the units that you noticed. Firewall maybe. But now I'm definitely down to one machine plugging away.

As far as extra power is concerned, during May/June of 2008 I had the quad G5, PS3, and iMac G5 running F@H 24/7. It ended up with an electric bill >$400 per month (So Cal, so some air conditioning as well). Stopped it after that...

Let's see, it costs me about $30 a month to keep the two machines running all the time with folding going on. About half that time they are doing something else as well. Electric rates here are not cheap either, so that $400 was for a lot more than folding, even if a PS3 is a power hog.

I fold during the winter, leaving my computers run. Keeps the methane bill lower.
