How long does it take for godaddy url to be redirected

On short notice, need to get a site up on Squarespace Monday.
URL is parked at Godaddy, has been for weeks. How long would it take for the redirect of URL to be active?

24 hours for the dns record to propagate to most servers
It could be as long as 48 for some remote DNS caches.

I originally misread that as 'for a godaddy girl to be redirected'...lol.
Tom's right for it to really propagate throughout the 'tubes'....but I've also seen it happen in just a few hours time for me to see the changes through the DNS(es) that I may be using...but that can be misleading as it doesn't mean all other visitors would necessarily be redirected then too. |
