Adorama's refurb prices have gone up so double check if something is a good deal or not.

Thanx. Some of the prices are steep-especially for refurbs. I'm surprised that they charge $119 for the kit lens Canon supplies with Rebels and that's the price for a refurb!
I did buy a 50mm f/1.8 the last time you alerted us to the site.

$30 more for the SB-600 flash than what I paid for my refurb last spring, an 18% rise. The Adorama refurb is now $199. Amazon has it new for $219, $30 off list price.

Prices on lenses seem to be going up across the board. With surging SLR sales, shouldn't economies of scale be bringing prices down? Or did surging SLR sales cause demand to outstrip supply at previous prices?

Now that so many people are shooting and hooked into a system, it is easy to raise prices. Also has to do with the dollar yen relation ship but manufacturers have been raising the prices on accessories as the price of bodies go down.
