Favorite digital TV antenna

We've got this "Enterprise" model from Radio Shack and it's worked quite well for us (note that we live fairly close to the local transmitters). It has a motor inside to remotely change the direction of the antenna element, a nice touch:

Something like that can be a good solution, with the potential problems I mentioned. It might not work well for all the channels.

Going through the items that SolidSignal has in stock, this seems to be a good balance of cost versus gain for a rooftop antenna. Not for inside use because it is b-i-g, almost 10 feet wide, 8 feet long, 2.2 feet high.

BIL just put up a new outdoor antenna complete with a new rotor that
has a remote control, no more getting up to turn the rotor control. He
said he's cable and satellite free now and picture is better than ever. I'm
not sure I could go that far, there's some cable channels that I really like.

Is there anything like a favorite ATSC TV antenna out there?

Indoors:

RCA 1650: http://66.77.167.109/rcaaccessories/Rcaa...UCT_DETAIL&ACTION_CATEGORY_IDSTR_CATEGORY_INDOOR_ANTENNAS&ACTION_PRODUCT_ID=ANT1650

The RCA is very compact and unobtrusive and is not orientation-sensitive.

Outdoors:

Channel Master 4228*

*Unfortunately, the original 4228 has been replaced by the 4228HD:
