Puppy may have swallowed a $1300.00 hearing aid.
24 to 36 hours ?
(Hoping it turns up somewhere else.)
She has a tendency to pick things up and then drop them elsewhere, sometimes hours later.
Usually eats just paper. (like checks) :-)
I'm not volunteering for the search and rescue mission.

Keep a close eye on her. If she starts spitting up or outright vomiting, take her to the vet ASAP. Especially watch after she drinks water, if that doesn't stay down, she could have a blockage somewhere in the digestive track.
My 11-month-old bullmastiff swallowed something she shouldn't have a couple of weeks ago, and had to have surgery to clear a blockage in her small intestine. She's doing fine now, but oy, what a vet bill.

According to google it's 24 to 48 hours depending on the size of the dog.
A puppy? I'd go with 24 hours.
Here's to hoping the hearing aid is somewhere else.

I would take the dog to the vet right away. The alkaline button batteries are incredibly dangerous if ingested (no matter if its a dog or child who eats it). It may be retrievable with endoscopy and that might avoid disaster.
best of luck

"Puppy" is a 3 year old English Mastiff. 165 pounds.
Hearing aid has been found outside intact.
Possibly got bored having something she wasn't supposed to.
And nobody noticing.
She usually doesn't even pick up even dog cookies off the floor, so I'm suspicious she never had it and the owner of the hearing aid is losing it. :-)
