I recorded the whole ”V“ Marathon that SyFy showed.

Yesterday, I watched the multipart first story all the way through to the defeat of the “bad” Visitors.

This morning I started watching the next ”follow up“ episode and was so turned off by the cynical direction it took that I stopped it and then erased all the rest of the episodes that I had on my DVR.

Although done in the '80s, the worst part for me was that the cynical world portrayed in this show as the aftermath of the averted “doom of mankind” was far too believable, based on the state of greed and sensationalism conveyed by the media today.

I can't imagine watching ABC's version except, perhaps, to see how Morena Baccarin looks in this show.

I thought that she was really beautiful in both Firefly and Stargate, but that alone couldn't keep me watching the remake of “V” after the overload I feel from watching the SyFy V Marathon.

Come on, bring back “Life!”
