D/l'd the new Google Maps Nav App to my MyTouch 3G

Originally only available for Android OS 2.0 (which is on the Droid), Google has now added it to the Marketplace where it can be d/l'd and installed in OS 1.6.

Definitely pretty cool and all, especially considering it's free.

Though I won't have much use for it as my car has built-in navigation.

Yep.. my wife loves the Droid's Navigation even more so than her car's Nav.

Pretty awesome of Google to back port this to the older OS models. Wonder if Apple will let them do the same on the iPhone..

I'm guessing not as it will kill the GPS app market.
