Looking for a kid's workbench
#1
So we got this bench for our 4 and 3 year olds:

Manny Repair Shop

But I recall seeing another workbench which may have been branded "Home Depot" or Step2 or something similar that had a lot more tools (Manny's only has a hammer and screwdriver) closer to $60. Manny's bench has stuff for about 20 projects using blueprints but this other bench I saw looked like it also had blueprints of some kind.

Anyone else see this in their shopping trips?

Just found it. It was a Step 2.

What do you think? The kids are loving the Manny bench seeing it on TV but it looks like the Step 2 has more tools and still has blueprints to match to. The Step 2 is $80 but we also got our Manny Bench on sale for $80. So cost is at a stalemate.

All of the Step2 stuff I have seen in person is top notch!

It's one of the brands that I always keep an eye out for when I am yardsaleing, I can ALWAYS flip it for more than I pay on eBay...

I was reading reviews and the Step 2 pieces are foam. The Manny pieces are plastic. I agree about the resale value though. We always make our money back.

Ditto on the Step2. The kid toys we've kept for future grandchildren are all Step2, Lego, and Playmobil. And a few wooden toys. The rest of the stuff goes to friend's kids, garage sales, and the Salvation Army.
