eBay no longer understands Dreamweaver's nonsense or Why has it taken me so long to discover garagesale
#1
First... I can't believe how crappy Dreamweaver still is. I was hoping for a SOME improvement in CS4, but no... still crappy and buggy...

that said, I've been using it for years for ebay auctions. Don't know much about coding, but have learned a bit over the years correcting various glitches, but now, DW html that I put into an ebay sale page comes out completely scrambled...

I was furious - called ebay several times... but they don't have any work around. Then I looked close at the code. There is all kinds of gibberish in there and ebay is now not ignoring it, but incorporating it - and that's bad, very bad...

So once again, I gave garagesale a very long look. I like my auctions to be set up a certain way - don't like GS's templates, but I learned that I could create new ones by just copying and pasting out of safari.

I LIKE this - people often ask, what's the best WYSIWYG webdesigner - for ebay, NOTHING beats garagesale. I just did a test auction and the listing looks JUST LIKE the template...

I've never spent $35 on shareware before, but I'm really ahppy I did this time...

yay!!

I love finding good shareware. My latest favorite is RipIt:

http://thelittleappfactory.com/ripit/

Claims to rip 99.9999% of discs. Never had one not rip. (Well I have, but it was scratched.)

Fairmount has been working 100% for me w/DVDs, and it's free.

Really? Fairmount trips up all the time for me when it comes to bad sector protections. I'd say I have about 80% success with Fairmount.

I don't like some things about the Garage Sale interface, like saving rough templates for reuse is completely screwy, but it does work and i do use it.
