My accountant has bent over backwards for me this year, even more than in years past. I want to thank her by getting her and her boys some really nice cases. maybe leather. She has a flip front leather one, but the idiot designer has the hinged portion covering the dock port, so you have take it apart to charge the dang thing.
Moran.
Anyone have one they especially like?

This is the case I have
http://www.griffintechnology.com/products/reveal Love it. Love it. Love it.
Maybe think of something like this as well
http://thoughtout.biz/PED3 This stand will hold any iPhone no matter the case. I use it to hold my iPhone and just plug in the cable rather than using a dock.

I love these cases. A client recently gave one to me as a gift and I was floored.

Trouble,
Nifty but not likely to hold an IPhone in an Otterbox Defender case. That and, in reality, while nifty probably more trouble than it's worth. Seems easier to just connect a standard IPhone charger cable to phone, plug cable into an ac outlet and leave phone on flat surface, i.e. night stand.

I don't see why not. The legs are bendable so the stand can accommodate different sized cases. If you are just looking to charge the iPhone then laying it flat is probably best. But the stand can keep it charged, synced, and at a good angle so it is still useable while on a desk. Really handy.
