B&W G3 hard drive gone

I fired up an old B&W and found it had OS 9.2. I started installing 10.3 when the installation failed.

When I rebooted the G3, it found no hard drive.

I booted into disk utilities but it didn't see the drive either.

help.

Do you still have the original OS9 disk?
You might need to boot up from that or from DiscWarrior, if you have an old enough version.

I don't know if B&W's like OSX.

I did not do the firmware update. The G3 has no internet connection...

I think you'll need to do the firmware upgrade. Can you download it on another machine? Note that the patch has to be run from OS 9.
