Could you give a bit more information about what you want to accomplish and exactly what you're talking about? Our choices are to either request a dumpster be delivered to our property and then picked up when full or to pile everything up in a huge mound and have someone come and haul it off. Over the years, I've used both methods, depending on what I wanted to accomplish. There are definitely advantages and disadvantages to both.

Our garbage firm rents 2 kinds of dumpsters, and each one can only be used for specific items. If you get a dumpster be sure you can throw in it what items you need to get rid of.

silly black.

I just have some old swing set/play fort wood. And some tree branches.

Not any real, potent, horribly toxic, trash.

Around here, that's two different disposal needs. The old swing set/play fort wood would go to the dump, so I'd call a trash hauler if I couldn't take it myself. The tree branches can be disposed of for far less money and in a more environmentally responsible way by taking it to the yardwaste recycling center. I'd probably call a hauler for that, too. Here, ordering a dumpster from the refuse company means that anything that goes inside will go to the landfill, and the dumping fees are mighty steep, in order to discourage people from filling it with stuff like yardwaste that can actually be recycled.

Of course I don't have a clue what resources are available in your area.

Not here. No recycling.
It just all goes to and gets burned in this incinerator...
