Slowly noodling the purchase of one, and did happen to see that the upcoming Costco coupon book extols the EP1 for $599, which is almost at the price of tempting. Have a few older manual focus lenses, and the form factor is mentally appealing. Just looking for feedback from the locals.

Vaguely recall that I'm threatening you both with consequences for these vague recollections.

i've got the gf1. it's pricey, but i picked because of faster autofocus and higher res screen mostly. when i bought it, olympus only had the ep1 out. not sure about their newer versions. there is a firmware update for the gf1 that allows you to toggle a magnified view with one click when you have legacy lenses attached which is pretty helpful if you have fast lenses. fyi Aperture wasn't fully supporting the gf1 when i got it which made me switch to light room.
i will try and remember to post a pic from it when i get home.

Thanks KoB. I did see that the Olympus line has a firmware update that is supposed to speed up the autofocus, but I've not played with any of the models under discussion, so can't comment beyond what I've read.
