Rant: USPS tosses dog's balls to curb
#1

Priority package
literally in the gutter
because my mail box is the standard size and this package was too large.

What service do you use to get it sent back to the post office and a little note in the box to come pick up your "over size" package ?
Like they used to ?
Good thing it still wasn't snowing. If a plow came by I wouldn't have found the package until Spring.

And who belongs to all these fresh footprints in the new snow up and down my driveways when no one has been here ?
UPS - attempting delivery of a package that was addressed wrong to my house. Apparently found "Sharon" after trudging through 4 homes' long driveways.

I hope Sharon's balls were nice and dry.

stick to the provided visual aid, please.

I had a new hard drive just tossed into the bushes by USPS. I filed a claim for non delivery and didn't find the package til almost three months later while doing a fall cleanup.

My postal worker brings larger packages up to the front porch and hides them behind a pillar.

Of course, we give her a small gift every year at Christmas.

This reminds me again how blessed I am with good delivery people on my route.. Postal carrier, UPS, and FedEx are all great, and don't do stuff like that.

FedEx GROUND, on the other hand, I won't go in to... :mad2:

That's still not as bad as UPS leaving my G4 tower in the driveway in plain sight from the street, it's a good thing I was home.

I've got the best postal carrier in the South, but she's transferring to Seattle in a couple of months. Sad

I think our Carrier that been carrying here for least 23 years must have retired because we never know when the
mail is going to come or if it's ours. Just other day we got a bill JAT oil co. And figured it something to do with
the farm and opened and was a bill for $22K for diesel fuel, thank god it wasn't ours. Just like the paper carrier
we had all those years retired and I finally canceled the paper due to it not being delivered where I wanted it,
not in the middle of road, side ditch, up inside the driveway culvert, etc.

My regular mail person brings packages up to the house and inside my screened porch enclosure if they are too large for the box. My sanitation collector brings my empty garbage can up the driveway right next to the garage door. I make sure to tip them all, newspaper delivery person too, at Christmas. Makes a difference. YMMV, of course.
