Its clearly not separate. Until all garbage is contained, we might as well throw some percentage of those styrofoam cups directly into the ocean.

There is one sure way you can reduce your own environmental footprint to exactly zero.

>>Where do the bleach and other chemicals from recycling paper go ?

Treating something at a small, fixed number of sites is much easier than controlling the behavior of millions of people.

Jesus VTPKL Christ. Apparently the idea of NOT putting more trash in our world is a radical idea around here.

No. It's just a progressive idea.

And progressive means liberal.

And liberal means bad.

VTPKL = Verb That Pinkoos Kid Learned. It was all over the other side last week. DO try to keep up with the new memes ?

As far as a solution ?

If certain Congresscritters are all about the environment, I expect 'em to cart their recycling home with 'em at the end of the day. And bring in their own nice little stainless steel water bottles instead of sucking down and tossing all that wasteful bottled water stuff. Etcetera...

I just wish most of these 'princes' and 'princesses' would walk the walk while they talk the talk. I'm not Ed Begley Jr. by any stretch of the imagination, but I DO go through my trash and pull out the recyclables my lazy kids just throw away. Yes. It's icky. But i have soap. Besides, the sense of smell didn't come ALL the way back.. Big Grin

I don't even know what a meme is. I think it's one of those jargon words meant to keep people outside the know, as opposed to in the know. No one has ever explained meme to me adequately and it seems to have no etymology whatsoever.
