It's all about Pakistan now
Thoughtful partisans CAN and do articulate and defend the public positions they take, it's their kool-aid drinking, talking point regurgitating, radio addicted* followers who stumble when confronted with any sort of counter argument that doesn't fit into a jingle.

*and by that I of course mean NPR listeners.

I am tired of the notion that no one, anywhere, from either side of the political spectrum ever does anything because he sincerely believes it to be the best thing to do. I think that's why most things happen, yet the gaggle of cynics here has to believe that every act has a sinister, manipulative and self-serving motive. The whole notion of the president timing this raid to get a bump in the polls just frosts me. The refusal to consider the facts is appalling and provocative. If you are going to troll bait, don't get upset when the fish bite.

Oh. My. God. Please tell me you are not referring to me. Or at least that you're just trying to irritate me.

I truly do not always agree with Dakota, as some say, but this time I have to say he has you guys pegged. Before Dakota came, this side of the forum was absolutely DYING. Before him, it was always someone else in the exact same role. You guys love him. So much, you want to think every conservative that shows up here is just like him. kj.

The notion that this place was dying before Dakota showed up is totally insane.

I am pretty sure kj has me on Ignore so someone needs to tell him to kiss my ass.

Waits for me to say I'm leaving because everyone is mean to me again (when did I ever say that, does anyone have the time to correct that mischaracterization?).

I think Gutie is referring to this:

Of course, I knew exactly what she was referring to, but can you seriously say she characterized what I said accurately? I would hope not. I notice Doc assumed that's why I was leaving, and thought it pretty reasonable it seems, but I never said that. And truth be told, my biggest reason for leaving (for what was just a long while) was that it made me pissed all the time. kj.

I've never had anyone on ignore, that I remember. Post counts were really dropping off bad, until you guys found another person for your whipping post. kj.

I rest my case. If you are not willing to defend your position other to say the points that others bring up don't matter, then be prepared to feel unappreciated. kj and Dakota are not the only conservatives on this forum but they are the unhappiest. There might be a reason for that. Look to yourselves, not us, for the reason because of course once again the points we raise don't matter.

What it all comes down to is that Obama REALLY needed a political victory to help him out of the flushed toilet. Yay for him. All the rest of the analysis is B.S. that no one actually believes. kj.

And yes, I was talking about you. There are a couple of similar posts on pages 2 and 3 of this thread. Feel free to protest that you never said this and besides it does not mean what it seems to say, and I shall feel free ro disbelieve you.

We all await your evidence to show validity for this statement. Are you able to produce evidence, or is this just another chip on your shoulder?

You didn't leave, you offered a tirade akin to a spoiled little brat who can't play taking their ball and going home; one who now realizes that no one really cares about their tantrum, and returns to stamp their feet some more rather than working on their skills. Maybe you ought to stop trying to infer the motives of others until you discover why you are pissed off all the time.

And you want to be considered the classy, queen of the forum with this kind of language? You are "offended" by me saying Democrat party and yet invite people to kiss your ass? I must say for what they have to face it takes a lot of persuasion.

When did $tevie ever say that, Dakota? Once again, you pull some nonfactoid out of some orifice and attack. It's not working, DA.
