That was my impression, but I'll have to say I wasn't correct. I went through nearly every Dakota post here (it was actually interesting, believe it or not), and my interpretation is that he posted for his first two years almost exclusively on the tips and deals side. For about a year, he posted a lot to both sides, and his posts here are unremarkable (seriously, look for yourself). The first person to call him out was Davester, of course. There's somewhat of a ramp up at the end of 2008, I believe, but Swampy is still getting most of the attention. At that point, there are still several conservatives (Karsen, macamatic, big guynrusty) taking (and giving) some of the flak. Most of these back off, then when Swampy backs off, the heat really turns on Dakota. Seriously, feel free to look, and I think you'll see the same thing. Of course, interpretation is up for debate, but my feeling is that the forum would just about die without someone like Fly, Swampy, or Dakota. At the very least, based on participation with these "unreasonable" people, one could conclude people like to interact with them. More than they like interacting with the more reasonable conservatives.

Btw, a "spoiled little brat tirade"? I think that might be pushing it a bit, but hey, whatever. Did you read responses to what I said? I think most people seemed to understand my reasons pretty well. But if you want to make stuff up, that's your prerogative. kj.

Davester, that's my impression, and there's nothing wrong with having an impression. I looked through some of the threads on abortion (I didn't even participate in some), and I personally have a hard time seeing it any other way. There's no tolerance at all for that view point (other than Ted). Look for yourself. What surprised me was seeing several people outwardly proclaim certain threads were a dogpile. I didn't remember that. Reminds me of the "Dakota can't be abused enough" threads lately. I personally don't think anyone needs to be abused. kj.

I think it's pretty obvious what you meant was that she didn't tell anyone to "kiss her ass". That would be a tough one. I agree with Dakota though that someone who would be offended about the "democrat" thing probably ought to recognize "kiss my ass" as pretty rude. That was the gist of his post, and it makes perfect sense. kj.

...and of course, going with your usual MO, you didn't bother backing up this claim by linking to the threads that you supposedly looked at, and then summed your "research" up with a bogus (IMHO) "there's no tolerance at all..." statement. I know for a fact that I don't fit in with that statement and I'm certain there are other "libs" here that don't either. I'm also certain that I've commented on this issue in a number of threads. Therefore your "no tolerance" statement is BS. Until you come up with a concrete backup for even one of your statements I'm calling bullshit on everything you've written so far. The only thing that there is "no tolerance" for here is unsubstantiated BS.
