I believe I said I try to be open-minded. To me, what "open-minded" means is that one is willing to try to analyze as objectively as possible all arguments for their factualness and validity of logic. Can you show where there is a pattern of me not doing that?

I like that a Republican freed the slaves. I like that Reagan was willing to compromise on taxes and social programs. I agree with Republicans whose libertarian leanings include strong defense of civil liberties. I also like that almost all House Republicans voted for Ryan's budget plan - but that may not be quite in the spirit of what you are saying. :-)

Yeah, the "fact" that you've hypothesized how horrible Dakota will be in 10-20 yrs. definitely carries a lot of weight. I think the real fact that you've spent months heckling him means more. Thing is, you have no idea what his life is like outside the forum. It might surprise you. Might not, but none of us knows. Spearmint's real life was a surprise to a lot of people. kj.

Dakota has been tasked to present facts, dozens, if not hundreds of times, to back up his assertions, and to date, he has produced nothing but his opinion. It is perfectly fine to have an opinion, we all do, but when you throw out some garbage as "the Democrats have shown to be xxxx", be prepared to be asked for proof (or don't complain when getting smacked down).

It is MY opinion that this will continue, as he is not going to change any time soon, if ever.

He might be the nicest guy on the planet outside the forum, but that is neither here nor there. His forum persona has shown that facts do not matter, and that is what I am calling out. Funny when I point out that he is forwarding a smear or outright lying, I am somehow the issue.

You seem to be going down the pattern of throwing out insults like he does; bring some facts to the discussion as others seem to be bettering* you here.

*Yes, Dakota, it is an ENGLISH word. Look it up.

I wish there were more thoughtful "righties" here but, like others have said, after The Løpe and Minty left, there are none.
