Raw Honey for Allergies?
#1
one of the farms here sells local raw honey and they claim it helps with allergies. Did anyone try this? did it help or made no difference? since we consume honey anyway, I guess no harm to try some local honey.

I have had allergies for years -- never so bad that I wanted to get shots for it though -- anyway, I started using local honey in my oatmeal each morning and my allergies have all but disappeared. I don't use raw honey just local Indiana bees. If you use honey already, why not support your local bees?

No harm in it... but I've heard a lot of wildly outrageous claims for the benefits of raw honey.
One claim was that if you rub it on your dangly bits, it will cure infertility!

I wouldn't take it very seriously..
But like you said, if you eat honey anyway, might as well try the local raw honey...

If you'll refer to your copy of the Kama Sutra, you'll find a method for male enhancement. Involving arranging for a swarm of bees to sting you there, repeatedly. The resultant swelling supposedly introduces tissue growth. I will stick with what God gave me, thank you very much.

My annotated copy says "if you actually do this, you're an idiot!"
