A side story to that and you already stated it but please! Never leave the house with a dryer running... A house in my dad's sub burnt down because people left the house to go shopping for Christmas and the lint in it caught on fire. Nice Xmas present! You just never know.

Needless to say, we don't do that now!

It wasn't lint in our case - it was faux dry cleaning supplies that caught fire and melted the timer.

I'm still using Nobis (became Signature SRM 2.1) speakers I bought in the 70s. Reconed them once, Dunno if that counts.

much of my system is vintage, circa 1981 and I just bought it in the last few years... :->

as far as other things, many tools I have are vintage and inherited from my grandfather. there are two hand (buck) saws I have and still use on occasion that are from my great-grandfather

also, my pan will outlive me:

I'm 50, and I have a dehumidifier in my basement that is older than I am (originally belonged to my grandparents). I use it every summer.

It's funny, I read this thread earlier; I was reprogramming with the remote on my cable/DVR box because it lost the setting to adjust the TV volume. Then I thought about seeing if it could handle my old JVC MC-X5 mini system; I found a setting that adjusts the volume and switches preprogrammed radio stations. Then I realized it's at least 18 years old which is my oldest still-used almost everyday technology. Nothing like what you're saying, but stereo stuff can have some longevity...

Frye boots from the late sixties. New heels and half-soles as needed.

I have a couple of Stanley planes that I use regularly from the 1920s that look like they could easily go another 100 years.

The fan motor in our radon abatement system has been running continuously since 1998.

Mac Plus converted from a 128K that still works perfectly.

I had a 1962 Volvo that had 270k miles on the original engine when I sold it 25 years ago. I used to blast from San Jose up to Napa CA every weekend to see my GF after I'd moved down to work in Cupertino. Wonder if it's still running?

I have hand tools from the '30s and '40s that my dad and granddad passed down to me.
