iOS 7 volume tile

in iOS 6, when I was changing the volume in the middle of a movie for example, the icon/tile/square with round corners thing that shows volume was transparent. in iOS7 it is opaque. You can't see denter of the screen until it goes away. Any way to make it transparent again?

Seriously Jony Ive, you design excellent products, but you should stick to physical objects and leave the software design to others.

It is fully opaque grey if you have Accessibility>Increase Contrast>Reduce Transparency in the Settings turned on. If that is turned off, it is semi-transparent but with the blur effect, it is not much of an improvement as far as seeing what's under there. The Videos app uses its own less intrusive indicator instead.
To change it completely, I think you'd have to look at a Jailbreak solution such as this:
