How do you view these US PATENT images? TIFF Files.
#1
Click on "Images" at the top.

http://patft.uspto.gov/netacgi/nph-Parser?Sect1=PTO2&Sect2=HITOFF&u=%2Fnetahtml%2FPTO%2Fsearch-adv.htm&r=1&p=1&f=G&l=50&d=PTXT&S1=(apple.ASNM.+AND+20130326.PD.)&OS=An/apple+and+isd/3/26/2013&RS=(AN/apple+AND+ISD/20130326)

I search for patents all the time at work. I ran into the problem before but I don't remember how I got it to work in Windows. Now at home I can't view the images. In Safari nothing happens, eventually I get a "Plug-in failure". In Chrome I get the message that Quicktime needs additional components, but not sure which to install.

These are TIFF files, why is it ho hard to view them?

In Firefox, it's in Preferences, Applications.... no idea where to find it in Safari.

Hope this helps.

In Firefox load the "Aspator" add-on. It will load and display the patent images.

It displays it inline on Firefox.

why not use Preview — ??

Remember, although the better option is the text on Google Patent and others, that most OCR apps like TIFFs.

I can't even save those TIFFs to open in Preview. Something is wrong in both Safari and Chrome. It works in FireFox after I added the "Aspator" mentioned above.

This patent does not show up in google patents. Maybe it is too new and they didn't add it to their database yet?

Sucks when I click on a PDF link and get a black page. Opens fine in Firefox.
