Three hours before the flight on my outbound leg of the trip...flight cancelled, with no explanation.
Hour and half before the flight on my return leg...flight cancelled for some "operational" thing. Not a tinge of regret, nor remorse from reservations agent.
Once, I can accept. Twice, on the same trip, that's BS. The weather is good, and these are frequent commuter-type flights.
Won't bother with a fracking airline that doesn't adhere to their schedules for no good reason.
I've taken them only once before. This will be the last time.

JetBlue for domestic flights whenever possible.
The planes are filthy, half the electronics (seat-back screens/headset jacks) are broken and the seats are closer together than ever but they STILL kick the other domestic airlines' collective asses.

You can take United instead. My buddy last week waited and his plane arrived 3.5 hours late. Then they couldn't find any crew and after 30 min canceled the flight.
They should have known for hours that the crew wouldn't be available, instead of canceling 4 hours after scheduled departure.
United rebooked him for 26 hours later on a connecting flight. They gave him a load of gruff when he wanted to standby for the same flight the next day (supervisor was called). Good thing he did as his rebooked flight was late and he would have misconnected in Houston and spent a second night trying to get home.

I knew United sucks.
Southwest was supposed to be better than average.

and I've had wonderful experiences with things going wrong with Delta - in Atlanta - so go figure.
I've gotten stuck in traffic too - damned highways - full of stupid people doing stupid things !!!

yeah, no one cares anymore - flights are so packed full you're just another meatsack.
the last SW flight I took was delayed 6 hours outbound, which also meant we had to connect in an airport an extra 200 miles away from our destination.
so instead of arriving @ 6pm we got to our destination airport around 1:30am.
this summer I'm driving 1200 miles instead of flying.
