Wonder if my CS6 Master collection is going to go way up in value now...hmm. Will have to set up some watch lists on Ebay and see what they go for.
Say goodbye to discs and the CS from Adobe...

Well, bummer. That seems absolutely insane for the average user. Especially if you only upgraded every other version or so (I went from CS to CS3 to CS5 to CS6).
At half those rates ($25/suite, $10/app), it would be palatable, but at $50 and $20, it's just ridiculous. I wonder if it'll still allow for two installs per subscription, or if that rate is per computer (which would be absolutely insane). The regular purchased apps allow for two installations which is great if you have two computers (i.e. desktop and laptop). Let's see, I bought my CS5 upgrade 3 years ago, and then bought CS5.5 in the window to get CS6 for free, spending a total of $1677. With the subscription model, I would have spent $1800 in the same time frame, and I'd continue paying them even more... Guess I'll be sticking to CS6 (and 10.6.8) for as long as possible... Though I'm bummed that Lightroom 5 will require 10.7+.

No CS upgrade has ever cost $300, unless you are talking about individual application updates.
To go from any CS 5.5 to CS 6 (Design & Web premium) is $375. $750 if you are at 5. For me, to go from CS 3 Design Standard was impossible. But $29 to everything (at least for the first year) was totally doable.

And if one computer is a Mac and one is Windows, that's no problem. I'm out of work right now and having to cough up the entire cost of even one app was kind of breath taking. This was kind of perfect timing for me.

Total BS from Adobe. What a scammy bunch they are.
They OWN design software for Macs and they finally aimed the pistol straight at us. I hope someone comes along and cleans their clock Douchebags.
