I had the Griffin AirCurve. The "amplification" was okay, but it looked cool regardless.
![]() The iPhone 4/4s fit okay if you took out the insert. Unfortunately, Apple switched the side the speaker was on, so it didn't work. Wife still uses it to charge her 4s.

I've got the AirCurve, too.
It's amplification was nil. It changed the frequency response more than it amplified. But it does look cool. Now I use it as a dock only, and BT headphones.
