Aw Man, "Jaws" is dead!

Richard Kiel, "Jaws" from James Bond, also starred as the towering inmate in the original "Longest Yard". "I broke his Freakin' neck!" Oh, also a Sleestak.

He would have been 75 on Saturday.

Don't forget Happy Gilmore.

Too bad, but from my limited knowledge, he lived longer than most with gigantism (I assume he was more than just really really tall).

So many notable roles.

Yeah, lived a pretty decent life. I haven't really heard any significant news about ongoing health issues. I know Andre had a number of them.

What is interesting is that "Lurch", Richard and Andre were all described as gentle giants.

Right you are! I'm not the only one mistaking the part, Ted Cassidy was a "related search" when I googled Richard Kiel.

And originally I thought Richard played Indian Joe on the Banana Splits' Tom Sawyer live action mini-episodes. But it was Ted C.

But Andre is always Andre. I got to see him go up against 7 Battling Midgets back in '76. It was hysterical,
