You're going to air all your dirty laundry ?

Neatest apartment clothes lines I've seen were in Singapore.

Some are just a simple flag pole with a pulley on the end.

Depends how handy you are.
DIY flag pole on a base would be my answer. Or rack that can hang out window made from PVC to maybe 2 -3 feet protrusion out the window. Hang your stuff on it and put it over the edge... Hehehe

Two questions to ask. Is it legal? Is it allowed in your building?

They also make those little laundry lines that you install in your tub/shower, like they have in some hotels.

I like billb's observation in Singapore.
A repurposed broomstick and some spring clamps (in place of clothespins) from the 99cent store should do the trick. Minimal cost to see if anyone notices/cares you are hanging laundry out the window. I see alot of weird sht born out of necessity in the ghetto. I bet no one will care.

Every apartment I've stayed at in Italy or Spain has had these things or similar. I can't seem to find anything like them in the US.

You can buy clothesline pulleys and rope at Sears.

They've had them in stock for at least 60 years.

How about hanging clothes off the handlebars of your bike? Or one of those flag thingies.
Ride and dry at the same time. Cmon man, ride smarter.
