MR Forum Fit Club: Exercise helps you not be floppy like LeBron
#1

MR Forum Fit Club

To encourage fitness goals, share experiences, educate and uplift each other.

If you haven't started yet, you are welcome at anytime.

Share as much or as little as you want with the group.

Starting out doesn't need to be a big step, just take that step.

You are worth it.

Remember, flopping looks plain silly when video recording devices are present.

Starting to see more progress in the belly on the near sides. Still not where I want to be in certain pockets of weight. Trying to stay steady.

Last week: 3 upper body workouts.

This week: 2 upper body, some elliptical work.

But a good support bra helps, too.

Very interesting week. Starting taking alleve for an unusual reason, and my chronic shoulder pain with reduced motion loosened up for the first time in a year. Yay!

Took my arm out for some much less painful simple yard work.

Had no idea how restrictive this shoulder had become on some activities.

Sadly, that advice is becoming more and more relevant for dudes, too.

Back to the gym this morning after missing four workouts because of a cold.

Felt good. Need to start getting the weight trend in a downward direction again. I have been pretty steady for September, but the gains from July/August are still apparent.

Foot still hurts. Seems to stay about the same. Even with the latest break. I can run a few miles with no issues, but I am going to sit out the VA 10-Miler this year. :-(

Bout of bronchitis slowed me up, but i have been doing some Phys therapy exercises for my right knee. I also discovered that my ribs had healed enough so that i can lay on the floor and do sit ups again. Time to lose that spare tire that appeared while i was recovering from the accident.

7.4 miles of walking. I used to do more than that in one day on my treadmill...

I went for four bike rides this past week. I can't say enough how much I enjoy my route along the bay and ocean on the beautiful sunny days like we've been having. I look forward to it every time but also realize that summer is ending. Also did three days of yard work which included putting in fence posts and mowing the lawn.

I have two more classes to go with my VA weight loss group and am making good progress. I weighed myself this morning and am now down about 20 pounds from two months ago. My pants are getting loose and I think it will soon be time to get the box labeled thin clothes out of the closet. :-)
