It was early. I was into DealMac before I looked at the forum. I found DealMac through the Macsurfer.com website. Back then it was cool to consolidate link pages for all things Macintosh.
How / when did you discover Dealmac?

It must have been mid-to-late '97 or early '98. I had just bought my first computer, a Powermac 7300 from CDW (who's that?) and undoubtably I found a link while looking for the best deals on peripherals and Mac information. The forum was a gold mine of information and entertainment.

Late 90's for me but I can't recall the precise year or how I came upon Dealmac. Count me also as a fan of PowerWatch. I still fire up my PowerCenter Pro 180 periodically and perhaps there are notes on there that references Dealmac back in the day.

I feel like I was there very early, but no idea exactly when or how.

Early. I was setting up a Mac network using the old phone cables and whatever the connectors were. I needed help with something and I ended up there and stayed.

1997 here also. I don't recall how I stumbled upon it. I used to buy and resell surplus Macs back them (garage full of IIci, IIcx and IIfx) and I think I found DealMac looking for parts to refurbish my machines. There was a killer video card deal back in the 97-99 timeframe that really cemented my daily visits to the site and the forum. Anyone remember the details?
