I need a decent quality, single line wall mount phone for a landline..
There is a wall plate where old school phones used to mount securely..metal plate, studs top and bottom..
the last phone was not compatible with these studs.
Anyone using something they like that mounts according to the old specs for a wall mount?
If not, i can rig..not even sure these exist..recommend..thanks.

If it were me, I'd go for an old fashioned rotary phone with 'property of ATT' on the bottom of it. That should work with the existing mounts.

You mean like
this one? Which mounts to a standard RJ-11 wall jack with studs, which this model
does.

I wonder if they are still making those, or if they are just a gazillion leftover stock

Well, they might have a large stock, but their webpage lists them under current products and not under legacy products.

Yeah, I need a new one too. Love that mounting style. Have the plate, next to a jack, and both next to a 110v wall outlet.
