Anthony Hamilton brought his “A” game, no doubt, Whitney is magic, but Marvin*? Ohhh that man is so good it’s almost wrong.

*I was legit at that game. The place was literally vibrating, I swear.

One of my best days ever. Magic, Bird, Kareem, Mo Cheeks, George “Iceman” Gervin, Bill Laimbeer (Total thug and you SO wanted him on your team), Robert Parish, Marques Johnson. Reggie Theus! I went to grade school and high school with him! And MVP? The Doctor, Julius Erving. My hero.

Then there was Rosanne Barr

I won't even post a video link to that.

Whitney Houston. No contest. The others have no respect for the anthem.

I have no idea which of those choices is which. My first reaction is that you mixed your poll with the wrong post.

I love all things Marvin, but I wasn't digging that version all that much.

Different strokes and all that. Any favorites come to mind?

Not really, because I'm not a huge fan of the national anthem as a song. But of these three, definitely Whitney

My knee jerk reaction before watching any of the others was Whitney Houston. Watching the others didn't change my opinion. Her version set the standard years ago, she seemed to love doing it.

I was very pleasantly surprised by Anthony Hamilton’s performance. I’m guessing it will hit a good spot with the younger crowd, never a bad thing.

I really look at all of these as very good to great renditions just for different sensibilities. None of them really “unacceptable”.
