so help me god, this mbp has the worst keyboard of all time

I have to admit, I didn't understand why people complained about whatever series mpb's having terrible keyboards. People can be picky about such things and I chalked it up to that.

But about a year in I seriously started to wonder if there was something wrong with my hands. I didn't say anything out loud and the problem grew worse until it most certainly wasn't my hands.

Press a key, nothing happens, or it does happen but a moment late. Or twice.

I'm awfully glad work paid for this thing and not me. I'd be terribly angry if I had.

I listened and bought the 2015 MBP from our fare sponsors. I have been pleased with it. Its fun to work on. Fans speed up with I am doing photo editing, but otherwise it is quiet and cool. Love the keyboard. No problems.

The 2018 is among those with the bad KBs. Failure as you describe may (had damn well better) be covered by a recall.

This happens to me on my work Mac - easy to test by showing it also happens when using an external keyboard.

.....that model has the butterfly keyboard........so you won't be giving it any....butterfly kisses......???

Seems much better after hitting it with compressed air. Maybe I need to do this on a weekly basis.



revised - eh, its not as bad but still annoying.
